Trinity Strand Trail Construction Contract Approved by Park and Recreation Board

We just finished the Dallas Park and Recreation Board Meeting and the contract was awarded for Phase 1 of the Trinity Strand Trail. FINALLY!! We now go to city council on February 8 for approval. One down and one to go!

This contract includes construction for the concrete portion of trail along the river channel between Market Center and Farrington (almost two miles). Each piece of property along this channel has been generously donated by landowners and we hope to start construction by late spring.
